01

Use a template as a starting contract

Replace every bracketed field and remove fields that do not apply. Supply only data you are authorized to use, remove secrets and unnecessary personal data, and label untrusted material. Keep the acceptance check even when the task feels simple.

Templates do not grant tool permissions, validate claims, or replace professional review. Raise the verification level with the consequence of error.

02

Copy the closest template

Keep the source block separate from instructions. For research, require claim-level citations and an explicit unknown state. For transformations, require preservation checks.

03

Expected result and verification

The expected result follows the requested structure, preserves the source where required, distinguishes evidence from inference, exposes unknowns, and does not invent permission or facts.

Run the template once with a representative case and once with a difficult edge case. Check every preserved value, open cited sources, compare decision weights, or reproduce review findings as appropriate. Save a versioned template only after both cases pass.
